post-title

I live for travel and I do not think I’ll ever get tired of it. My number one favourite thing to do is make a travel bucket each year and work hard to tick every box off. Ever since I started making a travel bucket list, I haven’t always ticked everything off but I stay positive knowing it's still going to happen. For the year 2024, I have 11 destinations on my travel bucket list and two have been ticked off.

A travel bucket list is something personal and should fit your taste and the experiences you wish to have. As I share my travel bucket list for 2024 with you, I hope one or perhaps two of the destinations might interest you enough to add them to your list.

Everyone has something they desire to achieve in their lifetime, whether basic or grand. A lover of adventure and exploration, travelling means so much to me and having a travel bucket list for each is routine.

Why do people write travel bucket lists? Writing down bucket lists helps you get them accomplished. It puts things into perspective and you get to plan your travel plans.

Take a short dive with me on my travel bucket list for 2024, with a summary of the places I’ve already visited and why I want to visit the other destinations on my list. I hope this list might give some sort of clarity as you create your travel bucket list for this year or future years. A bucket list is a collection of aspirations and dreams you wish to fulfil and in this case, a travel bucket list is a collection of countries and destinations you desperately wish to explore.

1. DOHA, QATAR

The capital city of Qatar, Doha, is a perfect location for blending natural beauty and traditional souks effortlessly that reward visitors with a pleasant experience. I recently visited Doha and it was such a pleasant trip. I would be visiting again and it's about time you added it to your travel bucket list.

Doha offers magnificent sights from top attractions like the Museum of Illusions, family-friendly places, and many other fantastic things for you to explore in the city. I recommend it for a spot on your travel bucket list.

2. MARRAKESH, MOROCCO

Morocco has plenty of colourful landscapes that will give life to your photo album and memories. I had so many expectations that I added it to my bucket list and although it wasn’t exactly planned, the city of Marrakesh suddenly had its charm.

With tourist attractions like the Bahia palace, Koutoubia mosque, the souq markets, and fun activities like camel riding and quad biking, you are in for a splendid treat. Although it is advised to do some research on things to know before visiting Morocco to prevent any mishaps, you’ll have a wonderful trip.

The capital city of Belgium, Brussels, is located in the northern region and is a worthy destination for you to visit. There are top tourist attractions in the city, just a short distance from each other. You could easily fit many locations, like two museums and the parliamentarian, in a day. Brussels is a bustling city with tourists and is well known as the chocolate capital of the world, bursting with chocolate delights that will leave your mouth watering. Visiting the shops with Belgian chocolate should be at the top of your to-do list. Brussels is a cheaper destination to visit compared to other big European cities like Paris and Rome. A minimal budget should be enough to explore the city and the many tourist attractions will keep you occupied with sightseeing and fun activities.
